Panel Discussion – Investing in Equality & Dignity

Panel Discussion – Investing in Equality & Dignity

This is the third and the last panel discussion that will happen at IRBF 2018.

When and where is it?

The session will take place at 3:00 PM on 27 February 2018 at Mantra Hall, first floor, The Park Hotel, New Delhi.

What is it about?

The international assets deployed with Sustainable and Responsible Investment (SRI) strategies are $22.89 trillion (₹1476 trillion). Out of this, presently capital worth $30 billion (₹1,962 billion) is being deployed with SRI strategies in India. Although this is a minor percentage as compared to the global assets, it is a positive sign because there has been approx 130% growth in Indian SRI assets, from $13 billion 5 years ago.

As Indian asset managers are beginning to adopt environment, social and governance (ESG) strategies, companies that seriously act on these factors are likely to benefit the most.

This session will delve into how financial institutions and investors are incorporating ESG factors in their strategies to prevent and provide remedy for corporate violations.
